In this role, you will work within the Benefit brand to drive sales, deliver exceptional guest service, and perform short services such as eyebrow/facial waxing, tweezing, tinting, and lash applications.

The Brow Waxing Expert (AE) maximizes sales and service performance within the Benefit brand by helping guests identify their needs, presenting products, and performing short services. The role supports the Experience Manager by focusing on guest service, sales and in‑store events, and maintaining compliance with operating procedures and safety standards.

• Meet or exceed Benefit brand sales and service goals and contribute to overall store goals.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, and personalizing service to each guest.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Provide short services at the Brow Bar, including eyebrow/facial waxing, tweezing, tinting, strip lash applications, and threading.
• Schedule appointments using the appointment book or system.
• Achieve average sales per labor hour and meet the sales‑to‑service ratio goal.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services and apply product knowledge to guests.
• Maintain reliable attendance.

• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing Benefit and Ulta Beauty training, team meetings, and brand education.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and an active client portfolio for Benefit services.
• Foster partnerships with Prestige consultants and salon professionals.
• Promote the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.

• Know and enforce compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures and state board guidelines.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty and Benefit brand dress code.
• Maintain the Brow Bar area, including stock, signage, and hygiene standards.
• Communicate supply needs to store management and brand representatives timely.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Brow Bar, salesfloor, and other assigned areas.
• Assist with merchandise resets, planograms, displays, inventory, and shipment processing.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention best practices.
• Execute additional operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology or esthetics license where required by state law.

• Experience in makeup application, eyebrow/facial waxing, tweezing, and tinting preferred.
• Proficiency with equipment required for technical work.

• Strong sales, product, and service competency.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive and proactive handling of guest concerns in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.

• Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attend brand‑sponsored trainings as required.

• Continuous mobility, standing, pushing, pulling, crouching, and bending.
• Continuous lifting up to 10 lbs.; up to 25 lbs. possible.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
