. The Department of Radiation Physics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas is seeking a clinically oriented Therapeutic Medical Physicist for a full-time PhD faculty position. The candidate s primary clinical duties will be to support external beam and brachytherapy treatments at the main campus in Houston.
- Support external beam and brachytherapy treatments at MD Anderson s main campus in Houston.
- Perform or assist with special procedures such as 4
DCT, SRS, SBRT, IORT, and PDR/HDR gynecological treatments as assigned. - Participate in quality assurance for EBRT treatment machines, CT-simulators, and HDR/PDR units.
- Engage in special projects and other assignments as needed.
- Participate in research programs and in educational programs for graduate students and trainees as a faculty member.
- PhD in Medical Physics or Physics.
- A certification completed or in progress. Residency program graduate preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a large team.

Salary and BenefitsTarget base salary: $180,600 – $273,400. Eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings and retirement benefits, relocation support, as applicable.
