Behavioral Health Rep I at Montrose ClinicAbout the Position

Located at the vibrant Montrose Clinic in Houston, TX, this role is a vital part of driving healthy change in our communities. As a Behavioral Health Rep I, you will provide essential support to our on-site Behavioral Health providers, covering a spectrum of engaging responsibilities that are pivotal in optimizing patient care and access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate language line interpretation services to ensure clear communication for all patients.
  • Efficiently sort and dispense incoming mail and faxes, maintaining organized communications.
  • Assist new patients in navigating the registration process, ensuring all forms and documentation are completed prior to their appointments.
  • Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) and continuity of care lists, ensuring accurate and updated patient information.
  • Oversee provider schedules to optimize patient access, including scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling of appointments as necessary.
  • Administer the waitlist for all Behavioral Health Services, strategically filling open appointment slots to maximize service efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.
  • CPR/BLS certification is a must, ensuring emergency preparedness.
  • Three to six months of related experience is preferred, providing a strong foundation for practical application within this role.
