Registered Dietitian - Job Overview

Schedule:

Monday-Friday (8AM-4PM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and analyze diet history, 24-hour recall, and food frequency data for diverse patient demographics.
  • Design and implement personalized diet plans leveraging cutting-edge nutritional science.
  • Assist patients in setting and achieving SMART health goals using advanced metrics and data.
  • Interpret laboratory data, body compositions, and patient interviews for comprehensive assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for integrated patient care and strategic health interventions.
  • Utilize the electronic health record system for efficient documentation and patient data management.
  • Contribute to new initiatives targeting diet-related illnesses and evaluate current program effectiveness.
  • Participate in the Quality Improvement Program and innovative performance improvement projects.
  • Serve as a consultant to clinic staff, providing expert nutritional insights and referrals.
  • Engage in continuous learning through workshops, training, and licensure requirements.
  • Oversee budget management for nutritional services and supplements, if assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) with an active Texas license, demonstrating current competence.
  • Engagement with Medicare, Medicaid, and various insurance programs required.
  • Master's Degree in nutrition or two years of clinical experience is highly advantageous.
  • Proven proficiency in digital health tools and electronic health record systems.
  • Experience with chronic conditions such as diabetes and HIV is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are desirable.
  • Strong foundation in modern nutritional science and its application in healthcare systems.
