Requirements- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months of phlebotomy experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with at least one year driving experience and acceptable driving record.
- Strong customer service skills, ability to establish rapport with donors.
- Professional and polite interaction with others.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Certification in Phlebotomy.
- EMT Certification or other related field license.
- Valid CDL.

- Operate departmental vehicle transporting staff and equipment to mobile sites.
- Complete pre‑departure and post‑draw checks of departmental vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain policies and procedures, upkeep of equipment.
- Assist with loading, unloading, set‑up, and tear‑down at mobile donor sites.
- Perform pre‑donation screening, venipuncture, and post‑venipuncture care.
- Accurately complete donor records in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Identify and report non‑routine situations during phlebotomy procedures.
- Attend continuing education and training in phlebotomy procedures.
- Maintain proficiency in required procedures.
- Assist other staff members as needed.
- Actively recruit donors at donor sites.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Comply with all policies and safety rules, and report violations.
Employee regularly stands, walks, uses hands, reaches with arms, talks or hears. Occasionally sits, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Must lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must comply with team lift requirements. Vision abilities include color vision, close vision, and focus adjustment.
Work EnvironmentEnvironment includes moving mechanical parts, exposure to weather, chemicals, blood and biocontamination, electrical shock risk, wet conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and radiation. Noise level usually moderate. Risk of mucous membrane or skin contact with blood.
