The diagnostic medical sonographer is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.
Education & Licensure- Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program; ARDMS or ARRT registered.
- High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Sonography.
- Basic Life Support from a hospital‑based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
- One year ultrasound experience or graduate of an ultrasound training program with a minimum of 3000 clinical hours of ultrasound training.
- Ultrasound unit and associated peripheral equipment, Trophon2 disinfection unit.
- Communication
