Job DescriptionAre you passionate about helping others and interested in a career in healthcare? We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Allergy Technician to join our growing team. As an Allergy Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients by performing allergy tests, administering treatments, and assisting with patient education.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct allergy skin testing and interpret results under the supervision of an ENT specialist.
- Prepare and administer allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) and sublingual immunotherapy.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting test results, treatments, and progress notes.
- Educate patients on allergy management, treatment plans, and proper use of medications.
- Assist with patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and coordination of care.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience as a medical assistant, technician, or in a related healthcare role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
