This position provides custodial and non-medical personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator in compliance with the Plan of Care.

High School Diploma/GED required

• One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.
• CPR (See Careers Link on discounted training)
• Current TB test preferred
• Must be able to speak and read English
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Reports to:

Staffing Coordinator

• Reporting changes in the client’s condition and Documentation
• Assisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living such as a wheelchair, walker, or hoyer lift;
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises;
• Measuring intake and output of fluids;
• Measuring and recording temperature, pulse, respiration or blood pressure.
• Keeping records of personal health care activities
• Medication reminders
• Light Housekeeping
• Nutritional Support
• Transportation/Errands
• Assistance with activities of daily living, such as hands on assist showers, incontinent care
• dementia care, after stroke care, parkinson s care
• Pet care

Dependent on assignment;
Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.

Non-exempt, hourly
