Are you passionate about healthcare and diagnostic imaging? Do you have excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated X-ray Technician to join our team at Fondren Orthopedic Group!!

The Radiologic Technologist produces patient x-rays and reports results to our physician team, ensuring that the procedure produces quality images for the physician to make an accurate diagnosis. The Radiologic Technologist may assist with coordinating outpatient appointments, makes patients who come in for procedures to feel as comfortable as possible, and conducts patient imaging procedures.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is an active role; patient positioning and position manipulation is required including bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for some filing. This will require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is expected for this position. However, occasional coverage to satellite offices may be required.
