Echo Vascular Technician

We are looking for a top‑performer to join our team as our new Quality Coordinator/Infection Prevention RN. This position leads all aspects of Quality/Risk Management/Infection Control/Employee Health.

The Infection Control RN is trained in hospital epidemiology principles and is responsible for the surveillance, analysis, and reporting of nosocomial infections; educating employees about infection control; and the development of health system policies and procedures to ensure rigorous infection control standards that meet JCAHO, OSHA, Public Health Department, and Center for Disease Control requirements.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Minimum 2‑3 years’ prior experience in Quality Control/ Infection Prevention
• Minimum 2‑3 years’ prior experience in direct Nursing Leadership
• RN license in the state of Texas
• Familiar with Core Measures, TJC standards
• Business office courses or experience, preferred
• Business college training is desirable
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, certification preferred
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with physicians as well as with facility employees
• Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• AHA – BLS certified
