Overview
We are currently seeking an EKG Technologist to join our Cardiology Laboratory team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting.
Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. EKG experience is preferred.
Shift- Night:
Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30 pm to 6:00 am - Evening/Night:
Weekdays, 5:30 pm to 6:00 am (varies)
$43,000 minimum - $65,000 maximum
Hourly breakdown:
Minimum $20.67, Midpoint $25.96, Maximum $31.25

The primary purpose of the EKG Technologist position is to perform cardiology diagnostic procedures.
Key FunctionsPerforms diagnostic tests including electrocardiography (EKG), signal‑average EKGs, and Holter monitor hook‑ups. Assists physicians during procedures as needed. Assists patients with preparation for test procedures, comforts and attends to patient and family welfare, calibrates and prepares equipment, evaluates validity of patients' data and test results, processes charges, complies with lab policies and safety rules, and performs additional duties as assigned by the Chief Cardiovascular Technologist or designee.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical training in a cardiopulmonary‑related healthcare field.

One year of experience in a healthcare setting.

One year of experience in a healthcare setting; preferred EKG experience.
