Harris Health System is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician – Floating to support pharmacy operations across various Harris Health facilities. This role is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.

As a floating technician, this position provides coverage across multiple locations, offering variety and the opportunity to work alongside different pharmacy teams while maintaining consistent quality and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under pharmacist supervision
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and pharmacy protocols
• Maintain accuracy in medication labeling, packaging, and documentation
• Provide excellent patient service and support interdisciplinary care teams
• Adapt quickly to various pharmacy environments and team dynamics

• High School Diploma or GED

• Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB Certification preferred

• Competence in computer use, mathematics, and medical terminology
• Strong adaptability and flexibility to travel to different sites

• Includes weekends, holidays, flexible hours, and travel
