Speech Language Pathologist

Overview

Kids Care Home Health is an ethical, therapist‑owned and operated home health company providing therapy services to children with special needs. We seek an immediately hired Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and conduct medically prescribed speech therapy at home.

• Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training.
• Perform evaluations focused on receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, oral motor competence, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patients and families regarding progress and home programs.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Attend continuity education and QAPI program.
• Manage caseload with productivity and serve as backup service provider as needed.

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Current state‑issued professional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

• Effective public speaking and written communication.
• Excellent critical thinking and detail‑oriented.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and record keeping.

• Spends a third to two‑thirds of time standing, walking, reaching while sitting, kneeling, and crawling.
• Over two‑thirds of time uses hands and fingers and handles, feels, talks, and hears.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty‑five pounds.
