Senior Billing Representative

** Senior Billing Representative
** to support insurance verification, benefits investigation, and authorization processes for infusion patients.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical billing, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and patient financial services, with the ability to work accurately with sensitive patient information while maintaining HIPAA and PHI compliance.

** Pay Rate:**          $ 17.21/hour

* Key Responsibilities Include:

* + Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for infusion services, including coverage, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and applicable limitations.

+ Submit and follow up on prior authorization requests for infusion treatments and related services.

+ Review and interpret medical records and clinical documentation to obtain information required for authorization and billing.

+ Confirm authorization requirements and communicate with insurance carriers regarding coverage and approval status.

+ Generate accurate patient cost estimates based on verified insurance benefits and expected financial responsibility.

+ Communicate professionally with patients regarding insurance coverage and estimated out-of-pocket costs.

+ Maintain accurate documentation of insurance verification and authorization activity.

+ Identify missing or incomplete information that could delay authorization or billing.

+ Protect confidential patient information and maintain HIPAA/PHI compliance throughout billing and verification activities.

+ Collaborate with clinical, scheduling, and billing teams to help ensure services are properly authorized and documented before treatment.

** Qualifications Include*
* + HS Diploma or GED

+ Previous experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or patient financial services

+ Strong experience obtaining prior authorizations

+ Experience verifying insurance eligibility and detailed benefits

+ Ability to read and interpret medical/clinical documentation

+ Knowledge of deductibles, copays, coinsurance, out-of-pocket responsibility, and authorization requirements

+ Experience communicating patient financial estimates

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

** Pay Details:**  $17.21 per hour
