We're looking for a Medical Collections Specialist to manage healthcare collection activities, resolve patient and insurance accounts, and support timely reimbursement while maintaining excellent patient service.
What We're Looking For:- 3–5 years of healthcare billing/collections or collection agency experience
- Medical collections experience with Active A/R & Bad Debt
- Experience with insurance, self-pay, and physician billing/collections
- Strong knowledge of hospital A/R and insurance claims/reimbursement
- Experience handling appeals, under/over payments, and account resolution
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with Word & Excel
- Meditech and Collect Logix experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required
