Personal Care Attendant
Full-Time / Part-Time
As a Personal Care Attendant at Best Friends Health Care Services, you will provide compassionate, hands‑on care to clients in their homes throughout the Houston area. You will be a trusted companion, helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life while ensuring their safety and well‑being.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
- Medication reminders and monitoring
- Escort clients to appointments and errands
- Document care activities and report changes in client condition
- Communicate regularly with families and supervisors
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- Must pass criminal background check
- Compassion, patience, and dependability
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently in client homes
- CNA or HHA certification
- Previous home health or caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
