Overview

Thompson Houston is hiring for a PM Front Office Supervisor to join the hotel’s front office team. The property is located in a 36-story skyscraper at Buffalo Bayou Park, offering luxury amenities including 172 guestrooms, 34 suites, 100 residences, a spa, fitness center, several destination restaurants, a private heliport, a one-acre pool deck, and over 17,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to front office staff; support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities.
  • Coach and guide associates; coordinate training, scheduling, payroll, and interviewing as appropriate.
  • Lead front office agents responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions.
  • Maintain a high level of guest service to create a positive guest experience.
  • Process forms of payment and respond to guest inquiries as part of front desk duties.
Qualifications
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Experience and a thorough understanding of Front Office operations with at least 1-2 years in a hotel front desk role.
