The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to join the only Forbes Five‑Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The Director of Housekeeping will be responsible for ensuring a flawless guest experience and service‑driven operation at The Post Oak Hotel, adhering to proper standards and compliance with Forbes Five‑Star service requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively leading the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments through coaching and inspiring a large diverse team with empathy and accountability
  • Oversee details that elevate the guest experience by upholding the Forbes Five‑Star standards across different touchpoints from guest rooms, suites, public areas, etc
  • Maintain labor, inventory, and resources with discipline. Overseeing linen programs and equipment life cycles
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the operational needs of VIPs and High‑Profile guests are met
  • Ensure familiarity with hotel's employee handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety. Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Housekeeping, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, luxury or Forbes experience required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
  • Must be able to manage colleagues, show initiative in job performance, and be effective in handling problems in the workplace
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data
