Male Locker Room Attendant- Spa

Overview

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Spa Locker Room Attendant to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The Spa Locker Room Attendant will be responsible for providing tours of the spa/fitness center, explaining features and benefits of equipment, amenities, relaxation areas and products to all guests.

• Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner
• Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of all areas in the spa and fitness center by picking up towels, wiping down floors, and stocking as needed throughout the day
• Certify locker rooms are stocked with amenities and free from debris at all times
• Inspect all equipment and report any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs to the Spa Director/Manager
• Handle opening and closing procedures of the spa and fitness center

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a hotel spa or housekeeping environment
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
