Our hotel is hiring a PM Shift Operations Manager. The Hotel Operations Manager oversees a hotel's daily functions, coordinating departments like front desk, housekeeping, and food service to ensure smooth operations, high guest satisfaction, and profitability, handling tasks from staff management and budgeting to resolving issues and implementing strategies for efficiency and excellent guest experiences, often reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Departmental Coordination:
    Bridges communication between front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and other areas.
  • Guest

    Experience:

    Ensures high service standards, addresses complaints, and resolves issues to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Staff Management:
    Hires, trains, schedules, and supervises staff; ensures proper staffing levels.
  • Financial Oversight:
    Manages budgets, controls costs, monitors expenses, and contributes to financial performance.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    Implements strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflows and maintain quality.
  • Facility Maintenance:
    Conducts inspections and ensures hotel facilities meet standards.
Qualifications
  • Leadership:
    Strong ability to guide and motivate teams.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written skills for staff and guest interaction.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly and effectively.

    Skills:

  • Education/

    Experience:

    Often requires a degree in hospitality management or extensive relevant experience.
  • Prior hotel management experience (Front Office, Rooms, etc).
Compensation
