Atlas Next Wave is looking for a passionate and skilled Recruitment Consultant to join our wonderful US Renewables team. The Recruitment Consultant role is perfect for individuals who are excellent communicators, team players, who are looking to manage a desk and are driven to provide excellent service and promote the Atlas Next Wave brand to our clients.
Job DescriptionThe Recruitment Consultant ensures client and professional needs are met through expert recruitment, account management, and sales. As the primary contact for both, they drive business growth, secure top talent, and manage contracts and negotiations.
They own the full recruitment cycle, supported by Business Support Administrators for compliance and onboarding, while also mentoring junior consultants and contributing to team success.
The Recruitment Consultant reports to the Team Manager with regular liaison to Senior Consultants and other Recruitment Consultants on the team.
- Client Relationship & Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary contact for recruitment needs, rates, and contracts.
- End-to-End Recruitment Leadership – Lead full recruitment cycles, from sourcing to placement, ensuring high-quality talent acquisition.
- Business Development & Growth – Identify new business opportunities, cross-sell services, and develop client accounts with SMART growth strategies.
- Revenue & KPI Achievement – Consistently meet and exceed financial targets, ensuring a sustainable recruitment pipeline.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship – Support, mentor, and train junior consultants, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strategic Market Knowledge – Maintain deep industry insights within the US Offshore Renewable Energy sector, tracking competitors, market trends, and client needs.
- Process & Compliance Excellence – Ensure full compliance with legal, tax, and company policies, minimising risks and improving efficiency.
- Client Negotiation & Contract Management – Confidently handle rate negotiations, contract terms, and business agreements.
- Data & Performance Management – Utilise Atlas Next Wave systems to track candidate pipelines, forecast client needs, and drive operational efficiency.
- Brand Advocacy & Professional Development – Actively promote Atlas Next Wave’s values and vision of being a knowledge partner internally and externally while contributing to training and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant subject, or the ability to perform at this level by industry experience.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a sales or 360 recruitment position working with a contract business. Ideally with prior exposure to the Renewable Energy sector, though not essential.
- Motivation and pro‑activeness.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail in reviewing contracts and personnel documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Engages with customers, candidates and team members to build lasting relationships. Works both independently and collaboratively, and is a great team player.
- Takes ownership of tasks, meets performance targets, and upholds Atlas Next Wave’s shared values in all aspects of the role.
