Talent Acquisition Recruiter

• Manage the full cycle recruiting process: posting jobs, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews for office and field hiring.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs and find the right fit for each role.
• Source and screen applications, selecting qualified candidates. Primary contact for sourcing platforms such as Linked In, Indeed, and college campuses.
• Collaborate with HR and department leaders to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from application to hire.
• Stay current on employment trends, market pay data, and best practices in construction recruiting.
• Coordinate and attend job fairs, college campus engagements, industry events, and community outreach programs to build the company’s employer brand in all markets.
• Maintain accurate candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and others.
• Promote the Chamberlin Employee referral program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 2 years in an HR or recruiting role with direct hiring and recruiting experience.
• Experience utilizing recruiting platforms including Linked In and Indeed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn applicant‑tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Able to travel to offices and work in a designated location (must have a valid driver’s license).
• Based in Houston.

BA degree or equivalent experience in recruiting or HR.
