The primary focus is to process domestic and international payrolls timely and accurately. Position requires total ownership of all assigned payroll duties, collaborative day-to-day interaction with employees as well as close interactions with other members of HRIS, HR, Benefits, Accounting, Tax and Finance.
Essential Functions- Assist in the preparation, processing and reconciliation of biweekly domestic payroll for over 3200 employees and expatriates
- Responsible for processing unscheduled payrolls for relocation and stock as needed
- Responsible for reconciliation of payrolls for accurate tax reporting
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual audits to maintain accurate payroll records and provide documentation for audits
- Assist in preparation and filing of management and regulatory reports
- Provide support to employees regarding all payroll matters
- Critically review and analyze current payroll and tax procedures to recommend changes leading to best practice operations
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Proactively identify, document and communicate process and/or system improvements
- A minimum of five years' experience in multi-state payroll
- CCP, CPP or ADP certifications desired
- Bachelor's degree in related fields desired
- Knowledge of ADP systems (ADP Enterprise v6, ADP Reporting/Insight)
- Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding payroll
- Prior HRIS experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Excellent judgment and knowledge of best practices
- Organized and able to multi‑task
- Interest and desire in system and process improvement
- Experience with working in a confidential environment and ability to maintain confidential data
