What You’ll Do

At Kirkland & Ellis, we don't just recruit exceptional talent, we help build high-performing teams that drive the success of one of the world's leading law firms. We're looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Legal Talent Acquisition team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career professional interested in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, or the legal industry. You'll gain hands‑on experience supporting recruitment initiatives while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.

As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you'll provide support to our recruiting team and help ensure a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with interview scheduling and candidate communications.
• Provide administrative, scheduling, and logistical support to the Talent Acquisition team.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records and documentation.
• Respond to routine inquiries and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Support campus recruiting events and in-office recruiting receptions.
• Assist with candidate travel reimbursement processes.
• Contribute to team projects and process improvements.
• Develop proficiency with recruiting tools and technologies while continuously building new skills.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
• Previous part‑time work experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new technologies and systems.
