Talent Acquisition Specialist​/Recruiter

LHH is proactively seeking a driven, relationship-focused, and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter to support one of our clients on a contract basis in the Houston area. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers, and identifying top talent to meet organizational hiring goals.

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $40.00/hr (DOE)

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter, you will manage recruiting efforts from sourcing and screening candidates through offer negotiation and onboarding support. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR teams to develop hiring strategies, build talent pipelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience. • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Coordinate interviews, feedback, and hiring decisions.

• Source candidates through job boards, Linked In, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Conduct phone screens and initial candidate assessments.
• Evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified talent for current and future openings.

• Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to hiring managers.
• Provide guidance on market trends, candidate availability, and hiring best practices.
• Facilitate interview preparation and selection processes.
• Ensure alignment between hiring requirements and recruitment strategies.

• Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Communicate timely updates regarding application status and next steps.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate logistics.
• Support offer presentation and onboarding activities.

• Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Track recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and hiring progress.
• Generate recruitment reports and provide updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

• Support recruiting initiatives that strengthen employer branding.
• Participate in career fairs, networking events, and community outreach efforts.
• Build relationships with passive candidates and industry professionals.
• Develop talent pools for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent professional recruiting experience will be considered.

• 2–5+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources experience.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
• Agency staffing or corporate recruiting experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms.
• Familiarity with Linked In Recruiter, Indeed, Career Builder, and other sourcing tools preferred.
• Experience generating recruiting reports and tracking recruitment metrics.
