Principal Compensation Consultant

Work Arrangement: Minimum 3 days per week in office/client environment

We are seeking an experienced Principal Compensation Consultant to join our Career Consulting team. This role is ideal for a compensation professional with strong consulting expertise who can lead complex client engagements, develop innovative compensation strategies, advise senior executives, and mentor consulting teams.

• Lead and manage large-scale compensation consulting engagements from strategy through delivery.
• Structure, direct, review, and interpret complex compensation analyses.
• Develop compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs focused on attracting, retaining, and motivating talent.
• Advise senior management and HR leaders on:
• Compensation strategy and pay competitiveness
• Job architecture and job evaluation
• Compensation program implementation and digital enablement
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants while ensuring high-quality project deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and support new business development.
• Leverage analytics, technology, and AI-enabled tools to deliver innovative compensation solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
  .
• 8+ years of experience in compensation consulting with strong subject matter expertise.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects and complex client engagements.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Market pricing and compensation benchmarking
• Job architecture
• Compensation technology
• Market analysis methodologies
• Compensation-related regulatory requirements
• Experience advising senior executives and HR leadership
  .
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point .
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and intellectually curious approach.

• Experience leading compensation engagements for global organizations
  .
• Proven success supporting business development, client expansion, or cross-selling initiatives
  .
• Experience with compensation management and survey platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled compensation tools and solutions
  .
• Experience developing innovative compensation solutions, methodologies, or thought leadership.
• Strong coaching and team leadership experience.
