Overview
Sr. WW Specialist SA Identity, AWS WWSO Security Services. AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise in critical security domains. SSAs work with customers facing complex identity and access management challenges, crafting secure, scalable, and resilient technical architectures that address these challenges while maintaining the highest security standards.
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Key Job Responsibilities- Design and implement enterprise-scale identity solutions leveraging AWS IAM, IAM Identity Center, and related services
- Lead technical strategy for workforce identity architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Provide security expertise and support for customers implementing AI technologies, ensuring secure, compliant, and trustworthy deployments
- Stay up to date with new and evolving AI security threats and mechanisms for defending against those threats
- Create and deliver internal/external training, workshops, and conference presentations on identity security
- Collaborate with service teams, GTM, and security specialists to capture and share technical insights
- Author identity security best practices, reference architectures, and prescriptive guidance
- Design and implement scalable programs and automation tools that amplify identity best practices

- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience in design, implementation, support, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services
- Experience with Active Directory, or software development and experience in managing and troubleshooting networks
- Experience writing high-quality technical content for technical audiences
- Deep technical expertise with AWS IAM (policies, permission boundaries, data perimeters, STS)
- Extensive experience with AWS IAM Identity Center and Access Analyzer
- Strong background in security architecture and AWS Well-Architected Framework

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The Colorado base pay ranges from $153,600/year to $207,800/year;
