Business Analyst – Energy Trading & Risk Management

Serve as a Business Analyst specializing in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, focusing on power and natural gas sectors.

• Collaborate with front, middle, and back-office users to analyze, document, and enhance business processes related to trading, scheduling, and risk management.
• Configure and maintain Orchestrade or other ETRM platforms for trade capture, pricing, risk, and settlements.
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle processes, ensuring data integrity and workflow efficiency.
• Work closely with developers and QA teams to design, test, and implement system features and enhancements.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions for system and process optimization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications and user guides.
• Provide production support by investigating and resolving system issues promptly.
• Remain updated with ETRM system changes, energy market trends, and compliance requirements.
• Leverage strong analytical, configuration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Exhibit willingness and adaptability to learn new functions, tools, and processes within the energy trading domain.
