The Senior Systems Administrator role ensures the smooth and secure operation of computer systems across physical and virtual environments. This technical leadership position includes collaboration, compliance, and on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities- System Management
:
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical/virtual servers, storage arrays, and endpoints. - Security & Compliance
:
Manage user identity (on-prem and cloud),
group policy management
, vulnerability remediation, and adherence to applicable policies (e.g., BSA/AML/CFT/Sanctions). - Project Support
:
Act as technical lead and collaborate with teams to meet business objectives. - Backup & Recovery
:
Monitor and implement data protection strategies. - Change Management
:
Document and obtain approval for system changes. - On-Call Duty
:
Participate in a rotating emergency support schedule. - Education & Experience
:
Associate degree or 7+ years of equivalent experience. - Certifications
:
Not mandatory but expected to obtain certifications (Azure, MCSA/MCSE, VMware, etc.) within a year. - Technical Skills
:- VMware vSphere expertise
- MECM/SCCM and 3rd-party patching
- Soft Skills
:
Strong problem-solving, communication (technical & non-technical), teamwork, and time management.
- Education & Experience
:
Associate degree or 7+ years of equivalent experience. - Certifications
:
