Ensure the stable operation of both physical and virtual servers through the configuration, management, and support of systems running various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX. Responsibilities include the installation, troubleshooting, and upgrading of servers, as well as implementing enhancements to optimize performance and reliability. Demonstrate expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise system technologies. Oversee the operation and support of solutions such as Active Directory, DFS, DNS, Terminal Services, Hyper-V, VMware, Internet Information Server, and manage file server migrations.
Provide support and maintenance for Exchange Server, Office 365, Azure IaaS, and virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)- Oversee daily implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of server infrastructure in both physical and virtual settings, ensuring optimal performance, integrity, and availability.
- Manage server hardware platforms, operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX, etc.), and infrastructure services including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, file/folder permissions, email systems, and website access administration.
- Align cybersecurity strategies and policies with industry best practices to safeguard company information.
- Create and update documentation for system configurations, changes, and operational processes according to established procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company IT policies and compliance requirements.
- Execute assigned tasks on IT projects, including evaluating and implementing new hardware, software, or services, and preparing technical documentation.
- Assist IT colleagues in troubleshooting and resolving complex or escalated technical issues.
- Alert supervisors to any security vulnerabilities impacting corporate systems or environments.
- Respond to security incidents, document findings, and develop mitigation/remediation strategies.
- Track, analyze, and help resolve advanced desktop, server, network, and hardware/software issues.
- Perform regular asset inventories to enhance resource utilization and maintain license compliance.
- Contribute to research and assessment of emerging technologies for continuous improvement of systems, service delivery, and business operations.
- Manage network operations, including domain, object, group, and user management via Microsoft Admin Center, Exchange Admin Center, and Azure AD Admin Center.
- Identify and implement opportunities for platform improvement, standardization, and enhanced security.
- Provide technical support for PPI’s portals.
- At least three years of relevant technical experience in server operation support role or equivalent.

- Should be a self-starter, possess strong analytical skills.
- The ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals and ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and provide effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other computer-related discipline from a four-year college or university.
Travel:
- 0-5% of the time in the United States, Mexico, or as required.
Language:
- Fluent verbal and written English;
Spanish is a plus, but not required for the position.
Special requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in Windows Server administration, Linux servers administration, Microsoft Azure administration, Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange administration, Active Directory administration, VMWare administration and storage management, as well as systems monitoring and maintenance.
- Computer skills – Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Outlook, is required.
- A Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification is preferred.
- Possession of a Microsoft certification relevant to the position, or an equivalent credential, is desirable.
- UNIX administration, MS SQL, MS SharePoint, Azure IaaS, web services, application support, network and telecommunications management or IT asset management is advantageous.
