Job Purpose

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Information Security Questionnaire Specialist to join our Security and Compliance team. In this role, you will respond to client and partner security questionnaires, due diligence requests, and related documentation that support Legal Access Plans’ compliance and sales initiatives. Your work ensures timely, accurate, and consistent communication of the company’s security posture and compliance practices to external stakeholders.

What

you will do
  • Complete and manage customer and vendor security questionnaires, RFP security sections, and compliance-related surveys.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Security, Engineering, Legal, and Operations) to gather and validate information.
  • Maintain and update a knowledge base of standard answers, security controls, policies, and certifications (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Track and manage questionnaire deadlines to ensure timely, accurate responses.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in all external security communications.
  • Assist with evidence collection and documentation management for audits and certifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and standardize responses.
  • Stay informed on company security posture, infrastructure updates, and new compliance initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
    • Ability to understand and explain security concepts at a high level.
    • Experience working with structured documents (Excel, Word, PDF, online portals).
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Preferred:
    • Familiarity with common security frameworks and certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
    • Experience in security, compliance, IT, or related fields.
    • Prior experience completing security questionnaires or RFPs.
    • Experience with compliance platforms (e.g., Whistic, One Trust, Vanta, Drata, Security Scorecard).
    • Basic understanding of networking and cloud.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Exposure to SaaS environments.
    • Project management experience.
    • Knowledge of third‑party risk management processes.
