EY Law – Contract Solutions – Senior

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior in our US EY Law practice. Our Legal Transform and Operate/Contract Solutions team works with clients to improve the performance of enterprise contracting operations and add value to the overall organization. Responsibilities- Supporting delivery of project-based engagements involving contract review, abstraction, analysis, and remediation services in response to client transactions and other triggering events
- Create executive summaries of executed contracts to enable client business teams’ understanding of risk and compliance with positions
- Review, redlining, and negotiation of broad range of contract types including procurement and sale of services, technology, data, content and products
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to mitigate identified risks in the contract language being negotiated and ensure the commercial objectives are fulfilled within the stipulated timeframe
- Understand and work within client specific processes and negotiation strategies
- Communicate independently with the client’s business and legal stakeholders with a view to building/strengthening relationships
- Work within a team to ensure service delivery in accordance with the agreed project scope, ensuring overall client satisfaction and compliance with SLAs, and actively identifying client needs
- Participate in regular communication forums involving internal and external stakeholders
- Work to understand, implement and facilitate use of Contract Management technologies and AI point solutions to enable delivery services and address client needs
- Innovate and improve upon current processes and techniques including in relation to workflow, time and knowledge management
- Facilitate reporting via daily/weekly/monthly metrics packs to internal and external project stakeholders, including members of senior management
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in (including combination of) a large multinational corporation, law firm, or management consulting firm
- Deep contracting subject matter expertise; ability to work with different contract types and structures and strong issue spotting ability
