Position: Jr. Analyst, Technical Applications

We are seeking a technically capable and detail-oriented Jr. Analyst, Technical Applications to join our IT team. The ideal candidate brings solid IT experience — including data management, application development, and system support — and is prepared to take ownership of key data and reporting processes across our Oracle-based systems.

This role supports end-to-end data operations, including data retrieval from Oracle E-Business Suite and other structured systems, data movement through Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or SQL-based ETL processes, and application/reporting development using Oracle APEX, Power BI, and Microsoft Report Builder. The position offers meaningful responsibility from the start, with a clear path to assume broader data integration and BI administration duties.

Key Responsibilities Data Management and Integration

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple source systems into the Oracle data warehouse using native SQL and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Assist in maintaining and developing ODI data flows, including sources, mappings, packages, and scenarios.
• Participate in the administration and performance monitoring of Oracle-based data warehouse environments.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of ERP (Oracle EBS) and related supporting systems to ensure accurate and efficient data provisioning.

Application and Reporting Development

• Support and enhance Oracle APEX applications, including report and form development, user interface improvements, and data integration.
• Build and maintain Power BI
  , Oracle Enterprise Command Center
  , and Microsoft Report Builder reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver effective, data-driven solutions.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across all supported systems.

Analysis, Support, and Growth

• Provide technical support for existing applications, integrations, and reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues to maintain reliability and performance.
• Document configurations, mappings, and data flow processes.
• Progressively expand into primary ODI administration and advanced data warehousing responsibilities.
• Contribute to process optimization, automation, and data quality initiatives.

Required Experience and Skills

• 3+ years of experience working across diverse IT systems
  , combining application development (Oracle APEX), data integration (SQL/PLSQL), and system support (Service Manager), with a focus on building and maintaining data-driven business solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
  ; comfortable working with both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (Transact-SQL).
• Working knowledge of Oracle APEX application development (minimum 1 year experience).
• Strong understanding of relational database structures
  , including tables, views, packages, and stored procedures.
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts
  , including staging, transformation, and fact/dimension modeling.
• Experience with ETL processes
  , either through scripting or ETL tools.
• Experience using Power BI and Microsoft Report Builder
  , or similar reporting platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across both technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and practical problem-solving ability.
