We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist Infrastructure Engineer to join the team of one of our exceptional clients. This role is ideal for someone who excels in modern infrastructure engineering, with deep hands-on experience in Confluent Kafka
, Terraform
, Git Hub Actions
, and cloud platforms. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is strongly preferred.

This position requires strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build, maintain, and optimize scalable, cloud-enabled infrastructure environments.

4 days on-site in Houston, TX

What Will Your Day Look Like? As a Specialist Infrastructure Engineer, You Will:

• Configure, administer, and maintain Confluent Kafka environments, ensuring stability and performance.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform
  .
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines leveraging Git Hub Actions
  .
• Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to support smooth integration and deployment workflows.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability across infrastructure components.
• Contribute to best practices for automation, cloud usage, and infrastructure improvements.

You Will Be a Good Fit for the Specialist Infrastructure Role If You Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka setup, configuration, and administration.
• Terraform expertise for infrastructure as code.
• Proven experience with Git Hub Actions and pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (
  Azure, AWS, or GCP
  ).
• Proficiency with a programming language such as Python or Java
  .
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Background in the Oil & Gas industry (preferred but not required).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with large-scale, enterprise cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools.
• Broader Dev Ops or platform engineering experience.
