Summary

We are working with an organization in the Oil & Gas sector. They’re adding a Network Engineer to maintain high standards for network architecture and ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization. This is available at mid-level or senior-level depending on candidate's experience.

• 4 days onsite in Houston, Fridays remote - arrival/departure time flexible to beat traffic
• Salary:
  Senior: $130-150k
  Mid level: 100-130k + Bonus/Benefits

What they’re looking for

• Advanced routing expertise (BGP is critical) — strong background in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, subnetting, and enterprise‑level network troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on Cisco or Fortinet experience — routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and solid LAN/WAN + network security fundamentals.
• Modern network design & automation — scalable architecture, cloud networking (AWS/Azure), wireless/VoIP, and scripting/automation (Python, Ansible).
• Certifications & communication — CCNP/CCIE or Fortinet NSE highly valued, plus strong communication and project ownership skills.
