We are seeking an IT Specialist II to support our US SEC IT team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for prioritizing user requirements, overseeing system upgrades and researching new tools. This requires highly analytical skills and the ability to understand business needs. Excellent communication skills and problem‑solving abilities are essential.

As an IT Specialist II
, you will play a key role in supporting our IT operations:
- Support end user on a day‑to‑day basis through ticketing system
- Installing and updating critical operating systems
- Updating and maintaining inventory list
- Rollout and deployment of new PCs
- New employee IT orientation
- Acts as both a primary support point and as an escalation point regarding technical issues within an enterprise environment
- Performs escalations when necessary for vendors or internal departments; capable of acting as remote support for vendors
- Maintains and supports enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, and other network‑enabled devices
- Supports internal policies and procedures
- Analyzes hardware, software, and network problems using diagnostic tools, knowledge base, and troubleshooting procedures
- Resolves unknown errors and documents resolution procedures for use in the knowledge base
- Provides suggestions or advice to senior management regarding IT device investment and enterprise device upgrades
- Assists in installing, maintenance, and troubleshooting lab devices and PCs
Education:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
- Three (3) years of IT support experience
- Strong experience with installing, imaging and troubleshooting Windows and MAC devices within an enterprise
- Strong ability to utilize clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Preferred – lab software support experience
- Assist some facility with IT related tasks
- Assist with vendor negotiation

Physical Requirements:
This is a sedentary position (at least 50% of time) in a typical office environment. There may be frequent interruptions with moderate noise levels and frequent use of printers, copiers, scanners, computers and other office equipment. Ability to sit, talk, walk, hear and communicate verbally and in writing is required. Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs is expected.
