ResponsibilitiesThe CRM Systems Architect serves as the company’s front‑line user experience and design leader across the CRM ecosystem. The role involves understanding business processes, capturing requirements for scalable solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into development‑ready user stories, and reviewing solutions with the product owner to maximize value. The architect communicates updates, increases user adoption through training and documentation, and participates in sprint teams following agile delivery.
- Serve as a functional advisor to business partners, prioritizing and enhancing the usability of CRM and related systems.
- Design and recommend system solutions for complex issues presented by end users, building strong relationships with business stakeholders.
- Partner with the CRM support team to resolve inbound requests swiftly, analyze recurrent issues, and create incident response protocols.
- Provide structured and ad‑hoc training and troubleshooting support to global end users; maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and guides.
- Develop system and educational materials for CRM functionalities, including UAT support and virtual or in‑person workshops.
- Maintain a centralized, current information repository using KCS principles to streamline content management.
- Monitor and communicate platform adoption metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership, collaborating with the PMO to deliver real‑time data via business analytics platforms.
- Integrate feedback from the process design team into improvement initiatives, aligning them with platform capabilities.
- Stay informed about evolving Salesforce capabilities and promote best practices in line with Pattern Energy’s standards.
Education
- BS degree in a related field (required).
Experience & Knowledge
- 5–7 years of experience in a medium to large corporate environment.
- 5 years working on technology projects, preferably CRM.
- Cross‑departmental business experience engaging a wide variety of business owners.
- 3 years of direct experience managing product or system development.
- Track record of delivering business applications using Agile methods.
- Experience leading UI/UX changes based on process improvement analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate business value with quantifiable metrics and KPIs.
- Multicultural and multi‑regional experience is highly preferred.
- Renewable energy industry experience is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration: field, flow, layout, report customization.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitations (model and security, declarative tools, reports, dashboards).
- Experience with 3rd‑party CRM applications, Web form data collection (Form Assembly, Gravity Forms), and screen capture for training videos.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Excel formulas, Lucidchart or similar process mapping software.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops or JIRA, Customer 360/MDM, contract lifecycle management applications, ERP / financial systems.
Additional Requirements
- Proficiency in a variety of business applications beyond CRM.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) for backlog management and sprint planning.
- Ability to travel up to 10 % of the time between Houston/San Francisco.
Starting salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 per year.
