DevOps Engineer

Location: Houston, TX, USA Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)

Salary: $86,000 – $130,000 per annum

We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to join a high-performing SaaS team responsible for taking BMC’s products to the next level of cloud native SaaS delivery. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and operational backbone of the Control M SaaS platform
, using modern Dev Ops and cloud technologies.

You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including engineering, QA, and support, contributing to highly scalable, reliable, and secure SaaS solutions used at enterprise scale.

• Design and develop new services and processes for SaaS solutions
• Plan, design, and build SaaS infrastructure, operational engines, and deployment strategies
• Transform sophisticated backend server architectures into cloud‑based SaaS solutions
• Maintain existing SaaS codebases, including troubleshooting and resolving production issues
• Contribute to next‑generation technologies, products, and solutions for a new data platform
• Develop, improve, and adopt modern CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Collaborate with application development, QA, and support teams across the organisation

• 3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops role
• Strong scripting experience, particularly with Python
• Experience designing and developing SaaS architectures on AWS
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Jenkins
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Cloud Formation and Terraform
• Solid understanding of automation, CI/CD, and Dev Ops best practices
• Strong problem solving skills with an investigative mindset
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills

• Experience with operational and observability tools such as Datadog
• Exposure to the full development lifecycle, from design to production
• Experience working at very large scale within a global enterprise environment
