Deskside Support Administrator – Infosys
Location:
Houston, TX. Join Infosys as a Deskside Support Administrator to provide end‑user IT support for software, hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office, and application installation & troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Support end users with Windows 10/11 and desktop/laptop issues.
- Image laptops and install applications as requested.
- Maintain lifecycle management of end‑user computing assets and inventory of spares.
- Set up and support conference rooms; troubleshoot Teams conferences, cameras, projectors, and other devices.
- Assist vendors with warranty repairs and equipment maintenance.
- Provide executive support for client.
- Contribute to the development of guidelines and procedures for modern workplace management and user experience.
Qualifications
- Located within commuting distance to Houston, TX, or willing to relocate; may require travel within the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience.
- At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in EUC Support (End‑User Compute – Deskside Support).
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
- Hands‑and‑feet support for end users to maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
Preferred Skills
- Analytical, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
- Good customer handling skill and prior experience in concierge (VIP Users) support.
- Knowledge of SCCM client installation & troubleshooting, networking, and Active Directory.
