Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

• Design and provision scalable, secure, automated multi‑cloud infrastructure (Azure) including VMs, AKS, VNets, Blob Storage.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates using Terraform, ARM or Bicep, with secure backend state management.
• Configure and optimize Azure services (Load Balancers, Key Vault) for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Lead CI/CD automation frameworks and multi‑stage pipelines with Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins, including near‑zero downtime AKS upgrades.
• Orchestrate and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) and maintain scripting proficiency in Python, Power Shell, and Bash.
• Lead enterprise‑wide cloud governance initiatives, enforce Azure tagging, naming conventions, and policy‑driven compliance via Azure Policy.
• Implement robust security protocols (RBAC, SSO, data access controls) and manage secrets with Hashi Corp Vault or Sentinel.
• Configure advanced network security solutions (Azure Application Gateway with WAF, Forti Gate) and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify and execute cost optimization measures targeting 35%+ savings through VM right‑sizing, Reserved Instance planning, and idle resource cleanup.
• Develop automated scripts to audit and clean up orphaned resources (VNets, disks, public IPs, compute, storage).
• Configure and maintain monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive alerting and dashboards.

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience as a Senior Cloud/Dev Ops Engineer (or similar).
• Expertise in multi‑cloud architecture with Azure as primary platform.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD automation (Azure Dev Ops/Git Hub Actions), virtualisation, storage concepts, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands‑on experience with Python, Bash, and Power Shell.
• Preferred domain experience in Oil & Gas.
• Strong leadership and mentorship mindset.
• Focus on delivering reliable, scalable, efficient platforms.
