Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
The Finance organization is seeking a skilled Power BI / SQL Report Writer
to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with Power BI, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights. This role is to assist in improving Accounting and Finance processes, to achieve agility, efficiencies, and consistency. It involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, optimize reporting processes, and support data-driven decision‑making.
Additionally, this position will be developing and providing comprehensive process documentation, including detailed flowcharts, to support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop technical solutions (Power BI, Power Query, Excel Macros, VBA, and SQL) to provide process efficiencies for the Accounting & Finance organization.
- Develop automated reporting and monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Work with business users to gather and document reporting requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Use technology to optimize and automate processes.
- Develop comprehensive process documentation, including detailed flowcharts, to support knowledge transfer.
- Test and validate reports for accuracy and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data refresh issues.
- Regular use of MS Teams, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Ad‑hoc special projects.
