Enterprise Application Architect

CTG is seeking to fill an Enterprise Integration Architect position for our client.

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 12 months

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise application integrations using ESB tools such as IBM IIB, Software AG, Web Sphere Data Power, SI, Tibco, and Mule.
• Develop and maintain APIs and web services, including SOAP and HTTP protocols, with proper SSL/TLS encryption and decryption.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and provide high-level and low-level integration designs.
• Perform data mapping, integration testing, and performance optimization of integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain enterprise integration environments, ensuring stability and performance.
• Document design specifications, technical procedures, and support materials for integration solutions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Strong expertise in enterprise application integration and ESB technologies.
• Proficient in API development, data mapping, and integration testing.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases such as IBM DB2 and Oracle.
• In-depth knowledge of web services, SOAP/HTTP protocols, and SSL/TLS encryption.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise application integrations.
• Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Prior work with IBM IIB, Software AG, Web Sphere Data Power, Tibco, Mule, or similar ESB platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
