Vice President Information Technology

Protege Hunters has an immediate Direct Hire Opportunity with a Global Leader. Ideal candidate will be a Strategic VP of Information Technology with the ability and proven track record to grow an IT division and take ownership. This person will need to have solid ERP and F/A experience with Sage.

• Visionary and results-oriented Strategic Vice President of Information Technology who will take complete ownership of our technology landscape, ensuring IT functions as a primary driver of business growth and competitive advantage.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and strong personal ownership for projects and outcomes.
• Manage the IT budget with fiscal responsibility, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
• Collaborate closely with other executive leaders and department heads to understand their technology needs, build consensus, and ensure seamless integration of IT solutions across the organization.

Requirements for the VP of Information Technology

• Building relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• 8-10 years as a VP of Information Technology.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage change and navigate a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Deep business acumen and an analytical mindset to connect technology solutions to strategic business outcomes.
• Deep hands‑on experience including application of systems.
• Extensive background with ERP Implementations.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with SAGE 300 – SAGE INTUIT is mandatory.
• Benchmark and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure of IT systems.
• 10+ years of responsible management of IT operations and delivery of technical leadership.
• Expertise in client service training and engagement delivery standards.
• Experience in business development activities, proposal development, and pursuit at clients.
• Thought‑leader skills in identifying complex client issues and expanding client relationships.
• Contributing to methodologies, whitepapers, and training efforts.
