Chief Technology Officer

As Conga’s Vice President of Architecture you’ll define and evolve the enterprise architecture for our cloud‑native, multi‑tenant SaaS platform. This role blends strategic vision with hands‑on architectural leadership, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Security, and Operations leaders to keep the platform scalable, secure, and extensible.

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap and establish architectural standards and best practices.
• Guide technology strategy across product lines, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead adoption that creates real value.
• Lead the design of scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems for core platform components (APIs, data pipelines, integration frameworks, identity management, observability).
• Mentor and lead a team of architects while maintaining alignment with engineering, product management, security, Dev Ops, and infrastructure teams.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews, create reusable patterns and reference architectures, and promote engineering quality and documentation.
• Ensure architectures support strong security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity while balancing innovation with pragmatic execution.
• Communicate architectural vision and technical direction to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• 12–15+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in architecture leadership roles.
• Proven track record architecting scalable, cloud‑native SaaS platforms.
• Experience leading enterprise‑level modernization and architectural transformation efforts.
• Private Equity experience – operated in a private equity backed environment with value‑creation expectations.

• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, API design, cloud infrastructure, and data architecture.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Comfort balancing high‑level strategy with hands‑on problem‑solving.

• Experience with multi‑tenant SaaS, event‑driven systems, or real‑time integrations.
• Background in Dev Ops, SRE, or security architecture.
• Domain expertise in industries such as Fin Tech, Health Tech, or AI/ML.

U.S. Base Salary Range: $244,637—$415,883 USD
Variable incentive pay, flexible work options, and full‑range benefits including medical and dental insurance. Additional base is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and education.
