Senior Manager, Digital IT Communications
Location: Houston, TX (4x a week onsite)
Employment Type: FT Contract | 53 Weeks

The Digital IT organization is seeking an outgoing, strategic, and highly organized Senior Manager to lead internal communications and content development for IT employees and consultants. In this role, you will help shape internal engagement initiatives, translate complex concepts into clear communication strategies, and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the creation, management, and distribution of communication projects from concept through completion.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and key messaging partner, recommending enhancements to communication strategies and content clarity.
- Develop and execute IT communication plans that simplify complex technical concepts for diverse internal audiences.
- Design and produce visual assets and graphics to support communication efforts.
- Collaborate closely with senior IT leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure message consistency and impact.
- Plan, coordinate, and host events—both virtual and in‑person—to support engagement initiatives.
- Develop reusable content templates (email, PowerPoint, etc.) to improve communication efficiency across the organization.
- Bridge communication efforts between corporate teams and the Digital organization to support strategic alignment and process improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role supporting IT/Digital senior leaders.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with exceptional attention to detail and tone.
- Excellent strategic planning, organization, and proactive self‑management abilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of IT change management practices.
- Experience using internal communication platforms such as Staffbase.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Experience with creative platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Ability to translate technical information into concise, engaging communications.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Comfort working in fast‑paced, highly collaborative environments.
- Creative mindset with the ability to bring new ideas to internal communication strategies.
