**** Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:*
* * Build, maintain, and continuously improve supply and demand balances using fundamental analysis modeling and statistical tools
* Design, support, and enhance data-driven models and digital/data science solutions to increase profitability, speed, efficiency, and reduce costs and risk
* Utilize techniques in data cleansing, mining, predictive analysis, and data visualization to translate complex data into clear, actionable market intelligence
* Collaborate with business subject-matter experts and global trading teams in London, Houston, and Singapore
* Develop and communicate short/medium-term views of the crude oil market through analysis of internal and third-party reports, price structures, and market intelligence
* Effectively communicate detailed market analysis both verbally and in writing to local and global teams
* Pilot and integrate advanced digital tools including machine learning, predictive analytics, and real-time data feeds to enhance trading performance and uncover new opportunities.
* Perform ad-hoc tasks such as tender and arbitrage economics, country or competitor analysis, and identify market opportunities and trends
* Develop a network of market contacts to enhance market intelligence

* Required Qualifications:
*
* * Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in energy trading, market analytics, or related roles.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (especially advanced Excel, Power BI—including DAX, Power Apps, Power Automate)
* Experience with SQL and Python for data management, automation, analysis, and visualization
* Digital mindset and innovative thinker with a proven track record of using technology to deliver solutions, efficiencies, and commercial value
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manipulate and interpret a wide range of data
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong business acumen and time management skills
* A desire to learn and understand the commodity trading business you will be supporting.
* Knowledge of global crude oil & products markets and refining processes
* Experience in fundamental modeling (building and maintaining complex supply & demand or refinery models; use of statistical tools and regression modeling to improve forecasting and results)
