Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Database administrators and Data Engineers to translate data models into physical database structures, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Define and enforce data model standards, naming conventions, and best practices to maintain data consistency and quality.
- Work with business users on the requirement and build data model designs with scalable solutions.
- Experience in any one of data modeling tools (currently client is using SQL DBM).
- Very good knowledge/experience in SQL.
- Knowledge on dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Min 10+ years total experience with minimum 5-6 years being Data Modeler or Data Architect.
- Knowledge in both OLTP and OLAP modeling.
- Experience designing data marts and data warehouses on enterprise scale.
- Demonstrate capabilities in designing and creating data models including conceptual, logical, and physical models, as per the requirements.
- Experience in ERWIN, SQL Database Modeler, or ER/Studio; additional model mart management experience preferred.
- Additional experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases preferred.
- Experience in Informatica Power Center is a plus but not mandatory.
