Solutions Analyst - Field Apps

Insight Global is looking for a solutions analyst to support the field applications development team with one of our largest oil and gas clients in Houston, TX. This person will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and supporting the development and implementation of field applications. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong proficiency in SQL, possess oil and gas domain knowledge working with field applications, have experience with UAT for custom applications, and promote stakeholder engagement.

This position is onsite 5 days a week, and will require 40-60% travel to field offices, as needed. The pay rate for this position will be between $40-50/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years experience with SQL (the ability to write queries, debug stored procedures, etc.)
Oil and Gas experience required
2-3 years working with oil and gas field applications
Ability to successfully gather and communicate requirements to development team from stakeholders and internal u
Willingness to travel
User Acceptance/User testing on custom oil and gas applications
