Marketing Automation Specialist (SFMC) - Wealth Management
• Houston, TX
• Pay rate: $66.66/hr W2
• 12 months contract
The client is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist with 5+ years of digital marketing experience and deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role supports wealth management initiatives by delivering highly personalized, data-driven email and journey-based campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and build personalized, responsive email templates using AMPscript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Develop scalable, modular dynamic content to support multiple campaigns and customer journeys.
- Execute A/B and multivariate testing to optimize templates, content, and journey logic.
- Manage segmentation, list management, SQL-driven automations, and data quality controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and IT to align campaigns with business goals.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and best practices across all email and automation activities.
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience; 4+ years managing email campaigns.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Personalization, Intelligence).
- Hands‑on expertise with AMPscript, HTML, CSS; working knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification.
- Experience with responsive email design and automated journeys.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (SFDC).
- Experience with email testing tools (e.g., Email on Acid).
- Advanced Excel skills; experience handling large datasets and segmentation.
- Exposure to Claravine, Aprimo, APIs, and SQL queries.
- Strategic, execution-focused, and detail-oriented.
- Strong ownership, organization, and project management skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
