Job Description

About Octagos:
Octagos is a fast-growing healthcare technology company transforming cardiac remote monitoring through AI-driven software. Our platform combines clinical intelligence, automation, and seamless EHR integration to help healthcare organizations deliver faster, safer, and more efficient care.

We’re seeking a Product Manager to join our Product team. This role is central to shaping and executing Octagos’ roadmap across its suite of cardiac monitoring products. You’ll report to the Head of Product and work closely with engineering, clinical operations, and commercial teams to deliver innovative features that improve outcomes for clinicians and patients.

Position Summary

The Product Manager will oversee the full product lifecycle – from concept through launch and iteration – ensuring every release delivers measurable value to users and the business. This individual contributor role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings a balance of analytical rigor, clinical understanding, and design sensibility.

The ideal candidate combines product management experience with an eye for design – someone who understands that intuitive, user-centered interfaces are as critical to adoption as functionality itself.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution (50%)

  • Define, prioritize, and execute roadmap initiatives aligned with customer needs and business goals
  • Translate clinical and business requirements into actionable technical specifications
  • Partner with engineering to guide feature development, testing, validation, and acceptance
  • Lead product launches and continuous iteration based on performance metrics and user feedback
  • Ensure releases meet regulatory, security, and usability standards for healthcare software

Cross-Functional Collaboration (30%)

  • Collaborate with engineering, clinical, operations, and commercial teams to align priorities and delivery timelines
  • Partner with design teams to ensure intuitive, user-centered experiences across all product interfaces
  • Support go-to-market planning with marketing and sales, including demos, messaging, and training materials
  • Work with customer success and implementation teams to troubleshoot, optimize workflows, and drive adoption
  • Communicate product plans, dependencies, and progress to leadership and stakeholders

Customer & Market Insight (20%)

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, representing clinical and operational perspectives in decision-making
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize feedback from customers, prospects, and field teams
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and unmet needs in cardiac monitoring
  • Translate insights into data-driven recommendations for roadmap evolution
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, healthcare, user-centered design, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

Experience

  • 3+ years of product management experience within a SaaS environment
  • Healthcare or medical software experience required; cardiology experience preferred
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments a plus

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, workflows, and user behavior in clinical settings
  • Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with developers and engineers
  • Proven ability to translate complex user needs into simple, elegant product experiences
  • Keen eye for design and appreciation for user experience best practices
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across disciplines
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven by purpose and results
Why Join Octagos?
  • Innovative environment shaping the future of cardiac remote monitoring
  • Meaningful ownership of product areas with clear visibility and impact
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture that values autonomy and accountability
